One room, smartly laid out
At 31 sqm, The Natural Point is our studio apartment - and that's its charm. Living and sleeping are cleverly merged into one space: the king-size bed and the 50-inch smart TV share the floor elegantly without ever feeling cramped. Colours are calm, with plenty of wood and natural textile - no visual noise. When you come back from a day in the UNESCO old town, this is exactly what you want: a place that asks nothing of you. You drop your keys, take off your shoes, grab a cold drink from the fridge and let the evening wind down on the balcony, looking out into the green courtyard.
King-size bed for proper sleep
The apartment may be compact, but we did not cut corners on the bed. You sleep on a real king-size mattress with high-quality linens from Denmark. The 50-inch smart TV hangs right opposite, in case you wind down with Netflix. The sleeping area faces the street side towards Steyrergasse, but the newly renovated double-glazed windows insulate the tram traffic so well that it stays surprisingly silent inside. Black-out curtains keep the night dark on top of that. Business travellers and city-break couples often confirm: you sleep here as if you weren't in the centre of a regional capital.
A real kitchen, just smaller
We refused to skip a proper kitchen just because this is a 2-person apartment. The Natural Point comes with a cooktop, oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, Nespresso machine, kettle and enough plates and cutlery for two. You can make your own breakfast in the morning, throw together a quick pasta after a glass of wine in the evening, or experiment with whatever you bought at the Kaiser-Josef farmers' market. SPAR supermarket is around 100 m away - perfect for a quick coffee restock or fresh bread for breakfast, and the nearest bakery (Martin Auer) is about 6 minutes on foot.
Bathroom with RITUALS
The bathroom is small but well thought out. Walk-in shower, a well-lit mirror, a hairdryer and our RITUALS toiletries in refillable, reusable dispensers: shampoo and shower gel, the kind of products you'd happily use at home. Fresh towels are ready, and final cleaning is taken care of by us. With a direct booking that adds 29 EUR per stay on top of the room rate. It's the kind of detail work that turns a 31-sqm studio into a proper boutique stay.
Balcony with a green view
The name promises it, the balcony delivers it: The Natural Point faces the quiet courtyard garden. You sit outside in the morning with your espresso, hearing birds instead of traffic - even though the tram stops only around 100 m away. In summer that's a small table, two chairs and a cool drink; in spring it's the first green opening up in the courtyard. The shared garden also has a table-tennis table, a football goal, go-karts, a sandpit and garden furniture. If you're coming to Graz as a couple, this is often the memory that sticks.
Location for couples and business
You stay east of the river Mur on Steyrergasse 86. Tram lines 4 and 5 stop at the Steyrergasse stop around 100 m away - almost on the doorstep. From Graz Central Station you're here in about 15 minutes with tram 4, direct. The UNESCO old town with Hauptplatz is roughly a 15-minute walk; the Schlossberg and Clock Tower take about 25 to 30 minutes on foot. Kaiser-Josef market is around 13 minutes away - a pleasant stroll or a short ride on tram 4/5. Messe Graz is only about 0.5 km and roughly 8 minutes on foot. For business travellers who don't want to disappear into a hotel, and for couples who really want to experience Graz, The Natural Point is a quiet insider tip.

The Natural Point is our only 2-person apartment, ideal for couples or solo business travellers. At 31 sqm, it's a compact studio but well planned: one open living and sleeping room with a king-size bed, a fully equipped kitchen and a private bathroom. For families or groups of 3 or more, we recommend one of our larger apartments like The Green One, The Pop Art or The Blue One (4 guests) or The Golden One, The Black and White, The Natural Zone and The Flowers (6 guests).

You can cook here without compromise - from a soft-boiled egg to pasta after a day in town. We provide dish soap and a starter pack of dishwasher tabs.
