Arrival by Train

Direct trains to Graz Hauptbahnhof from Vienna, Salzburg, Klagenfurt and Zurich. From the station, tram 4 reaches the apartment directly in about 15 minutes.

    Find direct connections Graz central station is directly served from many cities: Vienna Hbf in about 2:30 hours (Railjet hourly), Salzburg Hbf in about 4 hours, Klagenfurt Hbf in about 3 hours, Zurich HB in about 9 hours with the Nightjet. Tickets via oebb.at, bahn.de or the ÖBB app.

    From the station to the apartment In front of Graz central station, tram line 4 takes you directly to the Steyrergasse stop — no transfer needed. About 15 minutes ride, trams every 5–10 minutes. Line 5 also stops here as an alternative from another direction. From the Steyrergasse stop it's only about 100 m to the apartment door — almost at the door.

    Alternative: taxi Taxis are available right outside the station. The fare to the apartment is around €10–14 and takes 8–10 minutes. Bolt and Uber also operate in Graz.

Arrival by Car

Via A2 (from Vienna) or A9 (from Salzburg/Linz). Exits Graz-Ost or Graz-Webling. Underground parking can be reserved.

    Choose your motorway From Vienna: A2 south motorway to the Graz-Ost junction. From Salzburg/Munich: A9 Pyhrn motorway towards Graz, exit Graz-Webling. From Klagenfurt/Italy: A2 towards Graz, exit Graz-Ost.

    Drive into the city Both exits lead into the centre in 8–12 minutes. Follow signage for "Zentrum/Centre", then "Steyrergasse / Messe Graz". The apartment is only about 0.5 km, around 8 minutes' walk, from the Messe Graz trade fair — one of the most recognised addresses in the district.

    Parking A private underground parking space is available about 100 m away at the SPAR supermarket (Steyrergasse 91) — €10 per night, reservation recommended in advance. Alternatively, paid street parking (Mon–Fri 09:00–20:00, Sat 09:00–13:00) is available directly in front of the building. During trade fairs, garage reservation is strongly recommended.

Arrival by Plane

Graz-Thalerhof airport (GRZ) reachable in about 20 min. Alternative airports Vienna (2.5 h by train) and Ljubljana (2 h by car) for cheaper tickets.

    Graz-Thalerhof airport (GRZ) The nearest airport is Graz-Thalerhof, 7.6 km south of the city. Direct connections include Vienna, Frankfurt, Munich, Stuttgart, Berlin, Düsseldorf, Amsterdam, Zurich, Istanbul. From the airport you reach the apartment by car/taxi (around €30–35) in about 15–20 minutes, or by public transport (S5 to central station + tram 4) in about 30 minutes.

    Alternative: Vienna-Schwechat (VIE) Vienna-Schwechat offers a wider selection of international direct flights. From Vienna central station, the Railjet reaches Graz in 2:30 hours — early-bird tickets from around €19 in advance. From Vienna airport take the CAT (City Airport Train, 16 min.) to Vienna Hbf, then continue.

    Alternative: Ljubljana (LJU) Ljubljana airport sits 130 km south of Graz. Reachable by rental car or taxi in around 2 hours. A good option if you plan to explore Slovenia afterwards.

    From the airport to the apartment Taxi/Bolt/Uber are recommended for direct service to Steyrergasse 86. By public transport: from Graz airport take bus 630 or the S-Bahn to central station, then tram 4 to the apartment. Online check-in is in place — you only need the digital door code.
