A living room with freshness
The Green One makes it easy to settle in. The living space carries fresh green tones, soft wood accents and plenty of light surfaces to feel friendly even in winter. The couch pulls out: by day you sit together comfortably, by evening it becomes an extra bed for two guests – that is how this apartment works for four people. The 50-inch smart TV is there when you need it; in front of it lies the wide window onto the quiet courtyard garden. The living room and balcony face the courtyard, while the bedroom faces Steyrergasse on the street side. The apartment feels compact and generous at the same time – 46 sqm doing their job.
Bedroom with king-size bed
The Green One has a full bedroom with a real king-size bed, its own 50-inch smart TV and high-quality linens from Denmark. It is a separate room you enter from the hallway through its own door, so you get genuine privacy rather than just a partitioned corner. The bedroom sits on the street side toward Steyrergasse; the newly renovated double windows insulate the traffic noise very well, so you sleep undisturbed. Black-out curtains keep summer mornings dark for as long as you want. If you travel as a family, this is a clear plus: parents get a quiet retreat that locks, kids get the pull-out couch in the living room.
Fully equipped eat-in kitchen
We believe even a 46-sqm apartment deserves a real kitchen. The Green One has a cooktop, oven, microwave, dishwasher, large fridge, Nespresso, kettle and toaster. Plates, cutlery, pans, pots and a cutting board for four people are all here – you can cook without compromise. The dining table seats a family or two couples. SPAR is around 100 m away, the nearest bakery (Martin Auer) about a 6-minute walk. The Kaiser-Josef farmers' market is roughly a 13-minute walk – a pleasant stroll – or a short ride on tram 4 or 5. Perfect for a Styrian breakfast with pumpkin-seed oil.
Bathroom with RITUALS
The bathroom is clean-cut and big enough that nobody has to queue after a hike on the Schlossberg or a bike ride along the Mur. Walk-in shower, well-lit mirror, hairdryer and fresh in-house towels in several sizes are all part of it. The toiletries are RITUALS – shampoo and shower gel in refillable reusable dispensers, with a pleasant scent. Final cleaning costs 29 EUR per stay when you book direct and is added to the nightly rate. Either way you don't have to polish anything before check-out.
Balcony with courtyard view
The balcony faces the quiet courtyard garden. You sit here in the morning with your espresso, hearing no tram, just birds in the courtyard. In summer it is your favourite spot for a glass of wine in the evening; in winter you enjoy the view onto the still greenery from the warm living room. The garden belongs to the building: football goal, table tennis, go-karts, sandbox and garden furniture invite you to linger – perfect when you travel with kids. The basement also holds a 24/7 drinks microshop (pay on site via honesty box or QR code). The apartment's green character simply continues outdoors.
A location between city and nature
You stay east of the Mur on Steyrergasse 86. The 'Steyrergasse' stop for tram lines 4 and 5 is around 100 m away, practically at the door. Tram 4 takes you directly to Graz Central Station in about 15 minutes, the old town around the Hauptplatz is roughly a 15-minute walk, and the Schlossberg and Clock Tower about 25 to 30 minutes on foot. The Graz exhibition centre is only about 0.5 km, around an 8-minute walk; the University of Graz is around the corner and the Mur cycling route practically starts under your window. If you associate Graz with 'green', The Green One fits the idea: in the city, but never far from the next park, courtyard or river bank.
