Floral wall art, light fabrics and plenty of daylight - at 81 sqm The Flowers is our largest apartment, with two king-size bedrooms, a generous eat-in kitchen and a balcony facing the quiet courtyard. The first choice for families and friend groups who want space and comfort in the middle of Graz.
At 81 sqm, The Flowers is the largest apartment in the building - and yet it feels light. A floral mural, light fabrics, a soft sofa and plenty of daylight through the new tall windows facing the courtyard turn the living room into a place where you can feel spring even in November. The pull-out couch sleeps two, which together with the two bedrooms brings the apartment to 6 guests. The 50-inch smart TV is there for a movie night - but most guests find themselves talking longer than watching. The living area opens onto the quiet courtyard, so it stays pleasantly calm despite the central location.
As a 6-person apartment, The Flowers has two full bedrooms, each with a real king-size bed, its own 50-inch smart TV and high-quality linens from Denmark. The bright design continues: friendly walls, a light, almost summery look. Both bedrooms face the street side towards Steyrergasse - the newly renovated double windows insulate traffic noise very well, so nights stay quiet. All rooms are separate, individually accessible from the hallway with their own door, which protects your privacy; blackout options ensure dark nights. When two couples travel together or a family with older kids shares, everyone has their own retreat.
The eat-in kitchen feels generous - you can tell that The Flowers is the largest apartment in the house. Fully equipped with cooktop, oven, microwave, dishwasher, large fridge, espresso machine, kettle and toaster. Plates, cutlery, pans, pots and a cutting board for 6 are provided. The dining table seats a bench and four chairs comfortably - enough room for a long shared breakfast or a home-cooked dinner. SPAR is about 100 m away, the nearest bakery (Martin Auer) around 6 minutes on foot. The Kaiser-Josef market is roughly 13 minutes on foot or a few minutes by tram 4 or 5.
The bathroom stays inside the lightness concept of the apartment: walk-in shower, bright tiles, a well-lit mirror, hairdryer and fresh towels in multiple sizes. Toiletries are RITUALS - shampoo and shower gel in refillable, reusable dispensers. Toilet paper is ready for you. Final cleaning costs 29 EUR per stay when you book direct and is added to the nightly price. This level of detail is what separates a thought-through apartment from a basic rental - you don't have to shop for supplies or scrub anything at check-out.
The balcony faces the quiet courtyard garden - in midsummer with flowering plants in the courtyard, this becomes its own little idyll. You sit here in the morning with your espresso and hear birds rather than trams. In summer the garden becomes the kids' favourite spot: a football goal, table-tennis table, go-karts, a sandbox and comfortable garden furniture invite you to stay. Even on cooler days the view into the green is worth it with a warm cup. If you love long breakfasts, The Flowers is the apartment where you can stretch the morning out in peace.
With 81 sqm, two separate bedrooms, a pull-out couch and a full eat-in kitchen, The Flowers is built for longer stays. Families love the generosity and access to the garden, friend groups appreciate the mix of a large living room and two bedrooms with real privacy. For longstays the basement holds a washer/dryer laundry, a playroom with air hockey and darts and our 24/7 drinks micro-shop. The micro-shop is not included in the price; you get the chilled drinks against payment on site via the honesty box or QR code - turning a three-week stay into a real temporary home.
You stay east of the Mur, very close to the Steyrergasse stop - trams 4 and 5 run about 100 m away, almost at the door. Tram 4 takes you directly to Graz Central Station in around 15 minutes; the UNESCO old town with Hauptplatz is about 15 minutes on foot, the Schlossberg and Clock Tower around 25 to 30 minutes. University of Graz, Kunsthaus, the Mur promenade and Kaiser-Josef market are all comfortably on foot. Messe Graz is about 0.5 km or roughly 8 minutes on foot, the airport 7.6 km or about 30 minutes by public transport. A great location for families, friend groups and anyone who wants to really experience Graz.
